Everything visitors usually ask us — and a few things they wish they'd asked before arriving.
Do I need to book ahead for a regular visit?
Nope! Just show up during open hours (Wed–Sun, 10am–5pm, May–October). Only school tours, birthday parties and private bookings need advance reservations.
How much is admission?
$8 per person. Kids under 2 are free. Admission covers everything on the farm — animals, play areas, gardens and games. Animal feed cups are $3 extra.
What happens if it rains?
We're open rain or shine! The barn and covered shelters keep everyone dry, and honestly, puddle-jumping is a legitimate farm activity. In severe weather we may close — check Instagram before driving out.
Can we bring our own food?
Absolutely — the picnic area is yours to use. We also sell fresh snacks, veggies and cold drinks at the farm stand. We just ask that food stays in the picnic area, away from the animals (they are shameless beggars).
Is the farm stroller and wheelchair friendly?
Yes — our main paths are packed gravel and mowed grass, passable for strollers, wagons and most wheelchairs. There's an accessible washroom on site. See our Accessibility page for full details.
Can we pet and feed the animals?
Yes! Our goats, rabbits and chickens are used to visitors. Feed cups are available at the gate, and hand-washing stations are right beside every animal area. We only ask that you feed them our feed — outside snacks upset their tummies.
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs, but please leave them at home. Even friendly dogs stress out farm animals. Service animals are of course always welcome — just give us a heads-up at the gate.
How does the veggie shop work?
Browse the Farm Shop, add veggies to your basket, and send us your order. We pick everything fresh the morning of your pickup day (Fri–Sun) and you pay at the stand — cash or card. No online payment needed.
Do you spray your vegetables?
We grow using small-farm, low-intervention methods — hand weeding, compost, crop rotation and row covers instead of chemical shortcuts. Ask us anything about how a specific crop is grown; we love talking dirt.
What should we wear?
Closed-toe shoes you don't mind getting dusty, plus sun hats in summer. This is a real farm — a little mud is part of the memory-making.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Farm visit and veggie box gift cards are available at the farm stand or by emailing us. A veggie box subscription makes a surprisingly beloved gift.
Are washrooms available?
Yes — clean washrooms including an accessible washroom and a baby change table are located next to the farm stand.
